The Marion County Historical Society held another successful Pioneer Days this past weekend. Marion County Historical Society President Craig Agan spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about other events the Historical Society participates in throughout the year.
“Pioneer Days has been our biggest event for many years, but we have other events as well. We hold a breakfast every year during the Knoxville Nationals and we get to see people there. We have done a holiday tree festival in the past. Recently, during Covid, we partnered with Thrive to do the Marion County Christmas Holiday Lights. Thrive is a great group to work with and we were able to build a beautiful Holiday Light display that thousands of people came out to see.”
