The Pleasantville baseball team defeated  Class 1A #9 Sigourney 12-11 on Tuesday night. Parker Sheets was the winning pitcher and also had two RBI at the plate. The Trojan offense was led by Caleb Cook going 2-3 with a double and Jacob Hiemstra 2-3 with a double. The Trojans improve to 10-9 on the season and will be on the road tonight at Knoxville.  The Pleasantville softball team fell to  Class 1A #10 Sigourney 12-11 Tuesday night. The Trojans had one big offensive inning where they batted through the lineup in the end errors and runners left on base are what cost Pleasantville. With the loss, the Trojans fall to 6-10 overall and will be on the road tonight at Albia at 7:00 pm.
