On Monday, July 4, the Knoxville Police Department will hold their Freedom 5K Run/Walk starting at 8:00 am at the Knoxville Police Department, 305 South Third Street. Knoxville Police Chief Aaron Fuller spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the course for this year’s event.
“The 5K starts here at the Knoxville Police Department and go south on South Fifth Street to the trial this year. This year’s course will be an out-and-back course. The course will follow the trail to the west to Streator Street where the trail kind of ends prior to going over the highway and you will turn around there and come back and finish at the Police Department. This is just a good way to start off your Fourth of July with some exercise.”
