The Knoxville VFW will host a fight Night on Saturday, July 2, from 4:00 pm-12:00 am at the Knoxville National Guard Armory, 105 N. Lincoln Street. State VFW Commander Michael Braman spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about how the event came together.

“It all started with me meeting Kevin Flack of DownRange Excursion, which is a veteran’s non-profit, and we met in Pella and had some meetings and really after that, it was all networking to put the rest of the event together.”

Kevin Flack from DownRange Excursions spoke about the event.

“The whole premise of this event is to set an example of what the VFW and CVMA, two larger organizations, should do nationwide. This event will be the first time both organizations have come together, so this is a big event that has never been done before.”

All proceeds from the event will go towards DownRange Excursion, VFW, and the Combat Veterans Motorcycle Association.
