Work continues on the new Knoxville Middle School. Recently, the school board took a tour of the facility. Knoxville Superintendent Cassi Pearson spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the facility and its impact on the students.
“We spent more than a year and a half planning and we have seen renderings and artist drawings, but now to see it in person and to see how it is going to impact kids makes it exciting. Every inch of the building is a usable space as it was very well designed and I feel it is going to be a bright and cheerful environment for our students to learn in. This building, I feel, will have a big impact on the student’s learning and growth through Middle School into becoming what they want to be. We are getting close to the end as the building should be operational this fall and kids will be in classes there.”
