Following a Thursday night off, the Norwalk softball and baseball squads return to action today and tonight for a combined three non-conference games.

The Warrior softball team will travel to Dallas Center for the second time this week and play two games in the Fillie Invitational, facing Urbandale at 12:45 p.m. and Des Moines Roosevelt at 4:45. 

Ranked fourth in Class 4A, the Warriors are 25-7 overall. They split a doubleheader with Indianola Wednesday to wrap up second place in the Little Hawkeye Conference with a record of 18-3. Norwalk will finish regular season play Tuesday night at Carlisle.

The Warrior baseball team, now 17-17 overall, hosts the Carlisle Wildcats tonight at 7:30 and will close out the regular season Tuesday night against ADM. Norwalk split Wednesday’s doubleheader vs. Indianola, finishing 9-12 in the Little Hawkeye.
