Fresh off of a dominating 10-0 win over Albia Saturday, the Eagles baseball team has its eye moving to Bloomfield to take on Davis County in the Class 2A Substate 7 quarterfinals.

Pella Christian (9-18 overall) will have their full compliment of players and pitchers available after a five-inning victory over the Blue Demons, but will take on the Mustangs (20-11, 3rd in the South Central Conference) and their top pitcher Juston Matheney, who leads the team with 42 innings and 55 strikeouts, although he has a WHIP of 1.43, and has given up his fair share of baserunners.
