The City of Hartford is hosting the Hartford BBQ Bash next Saturday, including a cookout competition, a smoke off meats competition, water fights, a bags tournament, and a Farm to Table Dinner Feed hosted by the Warren County Farm Bureau.
The Hartford BBQ bash sign-up for the events will go until July 11th, and with chicken, pork ribs, pork butt, and brisket in the smoke off competition, and the rules for the competition will follow Iowa Farm Bureau State Fair rules, and winners can earn a chance to compete in the cook off at the Iowa State Fair.
After the judging is complete, the Farm to Table Dinner Feed is open to the community with meats, sides, desert, and a drink all for a free-will offering. To view a schedule of the day’s events, click below.
