The Pella Christian softball team was unable to avoid the revenge of Van Meter Friday night, having their season came to a end with a 10-0 road loss in the Class 2A Region 2 semifinals as heard live on 92.1 KRLS.

The Bulldogs gained control of the game in the first inning, scoring four runs on two hits, three walks, and one Eagles error. Van Meter added on in the bottom of the third inning with another four runs on four hits, and in total scored their 10 runs on 13 hits. Sydney Nunnikhoven and Emri Agre were the lone Eagles to reach base in the contest. Nunnikhoven recorded the lone hit for P.C. in the contest with a fifth inning double, and Agre recorded a leadoff walk. 

Pella Christian ends the season with a 10-22 record and graduate four seniors: Natalie Harrill, Alexa Dunsbergen, Sydney Nunnikhoven, and Trinity Vos.
