Mayor Don DeWaard is hosting a forum for residents to learn more about what’s happening in the community. Mary Mansfield with the PACE Alliance says they are hosting the second meet the mayor event on Wednesday, July 20th from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Nederlanders.This comes ahead of DeWaard presenting at the quarterly PACE Alliance breakfast on Friday, July 29th, where Executive Director Karen Eischen says a more targeted presentation will be given about the mayor in regards to the future of a proposed indoor recreation facility and other associated projects tied to the upcoming September 13th referendum to extend the current Local Option Sales and Service Tax.
