The PCM baseball team ended their year 11-11 overall. The Mustangs were a very young and talented team that had their share of growing pains but have a solid foundation for the future. Offensively, PCM had some standout performances as Freshmen Kaleb Devries in 13 games hit .407 to lead the team. Nick Farver was second on the team with a .358 average as both players will be back to lead a team that will have a lot of experience next season. The Mustangs scored 120 runs on the year and hit .259 as a team. On the mound, Zeb Padgett led the way with a 3-1 record and he will be back next season to lead the pitching staff. PCM finished fourth in the Heart of Iowa Conference with an 8-6 record and a team that had only two seniors so this team will be loaded and could be ready to make a run in 2023.
