The PCM softball team had a successful year finishing 16-12 overall. The Mustangs had a young but talented roster that learned and improved as the season went on. Offensively PCM was led by Riley Johannes who hit .473 on the season and also led the team with 32 RBI. Lark Drake also hit over .400 for the season as the Mustangs as a team hit .338. The team showed some power at the plate, clubbing 16 home runs led by Joslin Briles with six. In the circle, the Mustangs were solid as well led by Sophomore Ella Schendel who was 10-4 on the season, and Eighth Grader Riley Parsons who was 4-2 with a 1.43 ERA. These two will be a very formidable one-two punch in the 2023 season.
The Mustangs were very good in conference play finishing third with a 9-5 record.
