Despite playing one of the top-25 toughest softball schedules in the state, Pella Christian junior centerfielder Emri Agre put together some of the best offensive numbers in Class 2A ahead of the state tournament.

Facing primarily Class 4A and 3A competition, Agre is tied for the most doubles in all of Class 2A with nine on the season. Additionally in 2A, the junior was second in batting average (.573) and hits (59), fourth in slugging percentage (1.049), and fifth in on base percentage (.614). Eagles Head Coach Karen Harrill said that she appreciated Emri’s consistency throughout the year.

“Emri is amazing. She’s just a solid, solid player that consistently did well throughout this entire season.”

Agre and the Eagles finished the 2021-2022 season with a 10-22 overall record and a 4-17 conference record.
