The Marion County 4-H Foundation will hold the Chasen Stevenson Master Showmanship Classic on Wednesday, July 20 at 2:00 pm at the Bingley Show Pavilion at the Marion County Fairgrounds. Marion County 4-H Foundation Treasurer Lauren Petersen spoke with KNIA/KRLS News about the event.
“This is our third annual classic. Chasen was a big 4-H participant and volunteered after he graduated from the program. He passed away from cancer several years ago, so our foundation decided to hold a master showmanship classic. Participants will show different species of animals and try to win the title of Master Showman. This year participants will show goats, cattle, and a mystery species.”
All proceeds from the event will go to the Seeds of Hope Foundation.
