The 2022 Indianola Chamber of Commerce Golf Open took place Wednesday. Chamber President and CEO Brenda Easter tells KNIA News every year she is blown away by the support from the community for the chamber’s largest fundraiser of the year.

“I’ve never seen bigger smiles than I have today. People were definitely ready to get out and golf. And of course we moved to tee times which allows them to move at their own speeds and still enjoy the company. And the camaraderie we are seeing in the community before, during, and after their golfing is just gold.”

Easter also said she can’t say enough about the benefits from everyone rallying behind the chamber for events like these, and it shows the community can come together to help each other out. Full results from the tournament will be posted as they become available.
