Work on Phase 2 of the Indianola Square Reconstruction Project continued this week, with subgrade prep on Ashland between 1st Street & Howard and the conduits on Ashland also completed.

Pavement repair at the intersection of Salem and Howard is complete, and construction crews began prep work to pave the road on Ashland between 1st & Howard including the intersection of Ashland and Howard, which is expected to begin next week. Howard St. on the square is now open to the public.

Over the next several weeks, road paving and sidewalk construction will begin on Ashland, and sections of the road will reopen as it is completed. Storm sewer and watermain work on Ashland and between Buxton and B street, including the intersection of B Street and Ashland will begin.
