A fundraiser to help get the Knoxville Little League to the State Tournament is being held today, from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Knox Nutrition behind 203 East Main on the Knoxville Square.

The public is also invited to a send off for the team as they leave for the State Tournament in Davenport on Saturday July 23 at 10 am from the Knoxville Middle School. The team will have a Police and Fire escort. The public can meet up from the old Pamida parking lot or the DeYarman parking lot to line the streets from the middle school as the team is escorted from town. The team will begin tournament play on Saturday and the tournament runs through July 28. Donations to help the team pay for the trip are still being taken.
