Adams was selected among seven participants, with Kinzey Johnston being selected as 1st Runner Up and Olivia Lamb chosen as 2nd Runner Up. Adams will now preside over numerous activities throughout this year’s fair, and will compete in the State Fair Queen competition in August. Find photos of the candidates below. The Warren County Fair begins tomorrow.

Olivia Adams on why she wanted to be the Warren County Fair Queen:

“I would love to be Warren County Fair Queen because it is a great opportunity to not only interact with all the younger 4-Hers but also be a role model for them. I remember being a younger exhibitor myself, and how the Fair Queen at the time would hand out rewards, take pictures and be so excited for every 4-Her. These small actions made all the difference for me, and I would love to be able to do the same. Not only is this an opportunity to represent all of our exhibitors, but also our County Fair as a whole. The Warren County Fair has always felt like home and I am so grateful for all of the wonderful experiences it has provided me over the years. Fair is such an exciting time for many, including myself, and getting to be a part of several people’s experiences would be so special. I have enjoyed being involved within my community and this would truly be a memorable experience.”

Adams will be attending the University of Iowa.
