Pleasantville’s girls’ golf squad claims the #9 spot on our top 10 countdown of the Trojans’ best moments of the past school year, as they won their regional meet at Central Decatur on May 13th, which sent their whole team to regional final play.

The Trojans finished the regional meet with a team score of 418, 55 strokes ahead of the next closest scorer, Wayne. Kristen Roe’s dominant season carried into the postseason, winning her seventh straight meet, scoring a 91. Pleasantville had three other golfers finish in position to qualify for state in their district meet. Leah Adreon finished third overall with a 104, Emily Roe placed fourth with a score of 107, and Riley Thill rounded out the top four for Pleasantville with a 116, good enough for sixth overall.
