Against Des Moines Christian on August 27th, the Eagles scored nearly every way possible en route to opening the 2021 season with a 56-22 win. Eric Mulder opened up his season that resulted in an All-State 3rd team selection, with an interception from his safety position to set up a 40-yard Jack Fancher field goal.
Mulder would score two long touchdowns from there at the receiver position. Kicking off a season that ended in an All-State 3rd team selection junior quarterback Isaac Kacmarynski scored in four different ways — with two passing touchdowns, a rushing score, a fumble recovery in the end zone, and a kickoff return to the endzone. Drew Geetings tallied a pick-six and a sack on a busy night for the P.C. defense, as they improved to 1-0 on the season.
In a battle for the second spot in Class 1A District 6 on October 8th, Pella Christian used a balanced attack to blowout Cardinal 52-18. For a second consecutive week, the Pella Christian offense posted over 500 total yards, and Isaac Kacmarynski scored seven touchdowns highlighted by a 65-yard touchdown run as time expired in the first half.
Pella Christian improved to 3-1 in district play and 6-1 on the season with the win at Cardinal.
