The Simpson women’s soccer team is one on the rise, with young talent climbing the ranks in an American Rivers Conference that has multiple teams that look for success at the national tournament level. The Storm built a 6-2 conference regular season record and qualified for the postseason conference tournament, where they knocked off rival Central in a 2-1 overtime victory, earning their first conference tournament win since 2011. Simpson ended up falling to Wartburg in the semifinals 1-0, and will look to win their first conference title since 2006 as they bring back their core for the fall.
