Temporary Cooling Centers in Marion County

Pleasantville- call the Police Department at 515-848-3112

Melcher- The Melcher Library Monday 9-3, Tues, and Fri 11-5 and Wednesday 12-6.

Bussey- City Hall M-F 8am-4pm

Pella- call the Police Department at 641-628-4921

Knoxville- The Well Resource Center encourages folks without Air Conditioning to pop in to cool off during their daytime operating hours. M-F 9-5.

There is currently no overnight sheltering in Marion County.
