Wesley L. Van Kooten, 75, of Leighton, IA passed away Saturday at The Hospice of Pella Comfort House in Pella, IA. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4th at 11:00 am at the Leighton Christian Reformed Church. Interment will follow in the Evergreen Cemetery in Leighton. The visitation and a reception with the family present will follow the funeral service on Thursday at the church. Memorial contributions are preferred for the Pella Christian Grade School or High School, Peoria Christian School in Peoria, Iowa or the Oskaloosa Christian School in Oskaloosa, Iowa.
