Counting down the top 10 moments of the Simpson College athletics year of 2021-22, continuing with number 3.

While technically a school club, a National Title captured by the Simpson College Shooting Sports Club is definitely worthy of being one of the top moments of the season. The Storm won the D-III Classic All-American competition and Breydon Paxson and Kylie Tierney swept the individual titles of the event, which included American Skeet, American Trap, and Sporting Clays. Paxon scored 279 out of 300 in the three disciplines to win the men’s side, while Tierney posted a score of 256 to pace all women in the event. Simpson shot a team score of 1327 to win the overall Classic All-American title. The Storm scored 477 in skeet, 476 in trap, and 374 in sporting clays.
