A second school registration day has been scheduled at the Knoxville High School in the commons. The hours will be from 4 p.m. until 6 p.m. Wednesday, August 10.

The registration will help students get ready for the first day of school in Knoxville starting on Thursday, August 25 at 7:55 am.

School Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News why they are having the second day of registration, “We know some people were not able to attend Registration on July 27, so we are going to give them another opportunity for an in-person registration that’s going to be August 10 from 4 to 6 p.m. in the high school commons. You can get help registering pre-school through high school students and get registered and fill out free and reduced lunch paperwork and get that approved if you qualify.”

The first few days of school will be short days of school. On Thursday and Friday, August 25 and 26, school will be let out two hours early each day.

Then Monday, August 29, will be the regular two-hour late start.
