Warren County Economic Development held their annual Business Breakfast Wednesday at the National Balloon Classic balloon fields, inviting business owners and employees, elected officials, and community leaders for updates around Warren County. The featured speakers were Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority and the Iowa Finance Authority, and WCED Board President Doug Shull. Shull tells KNIA News Warren County is a good economic indicator of the entire state.

“I think the bottom line is in spite of some of the national concerns, Iowa is doing fantastic. We are growing our population a little bit, our economy is really good because of the diversity of our economy, and the state legislature has done some positive things which will hopefully attract businesses and people from other states.”
