The Pella 175th Anniversary Celerbation continued Friday with a brief presentation and proclamation recognizing the milestone in the Scholte Gardens.

Pella Mayor Don DeWaard was joined by Burgemeister Randy Sikkema, Town Crier Kelvin Bokhoven, and Pella’s Founder Dominie Scholte (portrayed by Tom Vander Well) to highlight the occasion.

This was followed by free tours of the Scholte House and Tuttle Log Cabin.
