While the early retirements from the Pella Community School District impacted most buildings, it will feel like a new era at Pella Middle School. Principal Josh Manning says several “iconic” educators are not returning in their hallways in 2022-23, many of whom were recognized by state organizations for their ability. While they will miss many of those teachers as well as those who transferred to other facilities in the district, Manning says he’s also excited with the energy the crop of newcomers is bringing to their building.
