2-egg-breakfast

One of the highlights of the Knoxville Nationals is the food.

There are many choices but a few of the local organizations who are helping feed locals and visitors include Pancakes at the Armory. It’s a joint effort by the Knoxville Rotary Club and the Methodist Church. The group will be serving from 8 a.m. until noon through Saturday of the Nationals. The event is held at the National Guard Armory in Knoxville.

Kay Jensen, who has been a mainstay at the event over the years, tells KNIA/KRLS News about eating at the Armory, “Oh, this is a good place. We serve really good pancakes and sausage, milk, juice and lots of coffee. We have a good place to sit down and pull up your chair. Visit with people on your left and right.”

The Marion County Historical Village is partnering with the Knights of Columbus serving breakfast from 7:30 until 11:30 at the Marion County Park.

The Well in Knoxville will be serving Waffles for the Well from 9 a.m. until noon through Saturday.
