U.S. Army Corps of Engineers has released updated information regarding closures anticipated at Fifield, Howell Station and North Overlook due to the waterline work. A few other recreation areas will be affected by these closures as well.
– Howell Station will now close for the season on September 26th. Reservations have been opened back up to the public on Recreation.gov for the additional dates.
– North Overlook Campground will be closing for the season on Sept. 6th. North Overlook Beach and Picnic Area will also close at this time.
– Fifield Recreation Area will also close September 6th.
