Several ongoing construction projects near Pella High School may cause traffic issues until some roads reopen near the building.

Pella Police Captain Paul Haase reminds the public to use extra caution, especially as East 8th Street and University Street both remain closed for reconstruction — the first is expected to open soon, while the main corridor north of Caldwell Park may remain closed until Halloween.

With construction also ongoing for new tennis courts, Pella High School Principal Adam Beckel says parking will be limited, especially for the first few months of class.

The tennis court project should be finished by Thanksgiving.
