The Pella School Board will schedule a public hearing for phase two of the Early Childhood Center project at their meeting Monday. A resolution on the agenda would schedule the September 12th meeting as the time to approve bids and a contract to construct the facility aiming to expand preschool options in the district. The board will also review a postage meter lease contract renewal, a pair of change orders for the groundwork at the Early Childhood Center, and schedule work sessions for the upcoming academic year. A discussion will also be held about board goal setting and a review of the 900 series of policies in the district handbook.
