Area schools are preparing for the start of the 2022-2023 school year.

Knoxville School Superintendent Cassi Pearson says, “Tuesday (Aug 23) is Meet the Teacher Night at Northstar and the High School. Wednesday it is West and the current Middle School and then classes start Thursday.”

Meet the teacher events run from 3:30-5:30 both days. Pearson says her favorite day of the year is the first day of school.
