The Pleasantville Volleyball team kicks off the 2022 season tonight with one of the toughest matches they’ll have all season.
The Trojans open the year on the road at Class 3A’s #2 ranked Des Moines Christian, who finished the 2021 season at the State Tournament in Cedar Rapids. Last fall the Lions swept Pleasantville in three sets 25-13, 25-14, and 25-18. The Trojans have struggled against DMC in the Varsity Bound era, winning just one out of the 11 matches between the two teams. That lone win came back in October of 2008.
First serve between Pleasantville and Des Moines Christian is set for 6:30 p.m. at Des Moines Christian School.
