As the new school year starts in Knoxville, there is still some work to be done on the construction of the new Knoxville Middle School Building. 

Knoxville School Superintendent Cassi Pearson tells KNIA/KRLS News, “To me the whole concept of providing this new Middle School Building and the location, and with the setup of the building is really going to evolve our school system to the next level.”

The new Middle School is scheduled to open Oct. 12 and an Open House is being planned for Friday, September 30th, during Homecoming.
