The building project at Melcher-Dallas school is ongoing and Melcher-Dallas School Superintendent Scott Bridges said the construction is coming along well and ahead of schedule.

Bridges told KNIA/KRLS News, “At Melcher-Dallas we have the big building project at the Junior High and High School. We struggled at first with that. When it was first let out for bid it was originally $1 million over budget. So, we had to reduce the scope of the project. We took $1 million out of the project. We did not compromise anything in the building as far as materials go. It is still going to be an outstanding facility. When people see it they are going to be amazed.”

The completion date for the school is June 1, 2024.
