The PCM Mustangs kick off the 2022 football season tonight on the road in Bloomfield taking on  the Mustangs of Davis County.

PCM and Davis County are far from strangers on the football field, having played against each other seven times in the past 10 years. After falling in the first two games between the two teams, PCM has gone on to win the last five games including last year’s season opener

30-14. Despite their recent success against Davis County, PCM head coach Greg Bonnett knows his team faces a tough test this evening.

“They’re well coached and that they were able to exploit the weaknesses in our defense (last year) and, just really good, solid running back and quarterback play. And then, like I said, just really, really physical up front. So, it’ll be a fun game. It’s the first game of the year, so you never really quite know what you’re getting into because guys go away, they graduate, people move in and then the young guys, it depends on what kind of off seasons they had, but all indications say that, their coach has it going the right way.”

Pregame coverage of tonight’s season opening football game between PCM and Davis County begins at 7 p.m., and will be followed by kickoff at 7:30 p.m.
