The Simpson men’s and women’s cross country teams have received their highest-ever ranking in preseason polls coming into the 2022 season as announced by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association earlier this week.
The Storm men come in ranked sixth in the Midwest Region, coming in third between other American Rivers Conference competition behind Wartburg and Loras, while the Storm women are ranked seventh in the region, behind other ARC schools Wartburg, Loras, and Central.
The season starts for both teams in their home meet the Bill Buxton Invitational on Friday, September 2nd.
