With the upcoming bond issue for improvements to Indianola High School in less than two weeks, the Indianola School Board received a look at the district finances at their last meeting. Superintendent Ted Ihns tells KNIA News if the bond issue passes, it won’t raise taxes and won’t put a strain on district finances.
“The district has done a very good job of paying things off early, refinancing when we can, making sure there is money available. If this project goes forward, it would be the same sort of situation, making sure we are very conscious of what our taxpayer dollars are being used for and using them for the appropriate reasons.”
