The Indianola volleyball team continued their unblemished start to the season Saturday after sweeping a tournament at Harlan, going 5-0 to win the Cyclone Invite championship.
The Indians didn’t drop a single set throughout the day, winning 2-0 over Underwood, Logan-Magnolia, Treynor, Missouri Valley, and Glenwood, not allowing any opponent to score more than 19 points in any set. Indians head coach Kent Halstead said the culture of the team has allowed players to come in and know what is expected of them and be able to perform.
Indianola improves to 8-0 on the season, and will begin Little Hawkeye Conference action Tuesday on the road at Pella Christian.
