The Melcher-Dallas Cross Country Squad runs at Albia on Monday. The Saints will get the season started after weeks of training. While the girls squad has only two runners, Coach Amy Stuart is eager to see what Addison Wadle and Hailey Stegman are able to do early on. Stuart tells KNIA Sports the goal early on is to get a baseline time and stay healthy.

Stuart: “We don’t have a big overall goal yet, only to keep them healthy. We want to get a baseline for next week, and see what they can do and go from there.”

The Albia meet is scheduled to get underway at 5:00.
