Indianola Parks and Rec saw record participation in their summer programs, including sports and other activities. Kathy Kester with Indianola Parks and Rec tells KNIA News the programs are bigger and better than ever, and it shows from feedback and support from those who use the facilities and resources.
“We were so pleased. We had a great season at the pool, we had perfect weather, we barely had to close the pool for weather at all. We had great numbers for tee-ball, our flag football program which has just started up has a ton of kids in 1st-5th graders in record numbers. We are just really thankful for the support from the community.”
