Marion County Bank launched the Report Card Debit Card Rewards Program in 2007 and has donated $346,956.26 to local schools to date. This year’s donations totaled $60,037.69. The Report Card allows debit card customers to support one of 15 local schools. With every debit card purchase, Marion County Bank makes a donation to the school of their choice. Enrollment in Marion County Bank’s Report Card is free and there is no limit to the money a school can earn. (ABOVE) 2,799 Marion County Bank debit cards are signed up to support Pella Community Schools. This year’s donation from Marion County Bank was $24,514.29 and brings the program total to $179,064.81. Marion County Bank’s Steve Kraayenbrink and Kevin Bolt presented the check to Pella Community High School Principal Adam Beckel and Assistant Principal Derek Schulte.


575 Marion County Bank debit cards are in support of Pella Christian Grade School. This year’s donation to PCGS was $5,035.98 taking the total to $40,694.06. Marion County Bank’s Steve Kraayenbrink and Kevin Bolt presented the check to Pella Christian Grade School Principal Ben Dirksen and Head of Schools Dan Zylstra.


762 Marion County Bank debit cards are signed up to support Pella Christian High School. This year’s donation was $6,673.77 raising the program total for PCHS donation to $57,842.02! Marion County Bank’s Steve Kraayenbrink and Kevin Bolt presented the check to Pella Christian Head of Schools Dan Zylstra and Pella Christian High School Principal Kevin Herdegen.

Melcher-Dallas Community Schools have 400 debit cards signed up equaling a donation of $3,503.29 this year. This brings the program total for Melcher-Dallas Schools to $6,968.71. Marion County Bank’s Lisa Walters and Beth Caikoski presented this year’s check to Melcher-Dallas Community School High School Principal Abby Heaberlin and Teachers Emily Benedict and Sabrina Fox.
