Democratic candidate for Governor Deidre DeJear will be in Marion County for events in Pella Tuesday, September 6 and Knoxville Wednesday, September 7. 

DeJear will be holding both public and private events in each community. Public events in Pella include a lunch conversation at Smokey Row from noon to 12:45 pm. From 7 until 8 p.m. she will be at the Maytag Student Center at Central College. Special guest at the Central College event will be Tyler Stewart, candidate for Iowa Senate District 19.

In Knoxville she will make a public appearance from 4:00 to 5:00 at the Knoxville High School Media Center. Special guests will be Lisa Fleishman, candidate for Iowa Senate District 19 and Joe Kerner, candidate for Iowa House District 21.

DeJear will meet privately with leaders in industry, business, education, health care and emergency services.
