Heal House of Indianola and Warren County is preparing for the winter to help serve the local homeless population, including preparing them for living alone. Board President Laurie Abernathy tells KNIA News when someone transitions from living in their facility to their own apartment, they provide some bedding, towels, and toiletries, so those are always in need if members of the public wish to donate.
