Eric Van Lancker, who is running for Lieutenant Governor, followed up on Democratic Governor candidate Deidre DeJear’s plans for public education  at the Democratic Picnic and Pie Auction held Sunday at the North Overlook at Lake Red Rock. 

Van Lancker said, “I wanted to follow up on Deidre’s education message and hit the highlights and make people know what we’re working on when Deidre becomes the next Governor. Our bumper sticker to that message is to fund public schools. They’ve been underfunded for a decade now. We know that’s important for our schools to have quality teachers.”

Over 60 people attended the function.
