The State of Iowa is reorganizing and merging the Iowa Department of Health and Department of Human Services for services provided to all Iowa residents. New Warren County Health Services Director Joelle Stolte tells KNIA News that while that is a big merger at the state level, she doesn’t see Warren County being affected or losing services.

“At this time I don’t think we will see much change at the local level. Right now they are currently working on the organization of the infrastructure, but right now I don’t see any changes coming at the local level.”

The new state agency will be the Department of Health and Human Services.
