Three Norwalk golfers shot rounds of 76 on Thursday, September 1, to help the Warriors place fifth out of nine teams in the Waukee Northwest Boys Invitational. The meet was held at The Legacy Golf Club in Norwalk.
Norwalk seniors Cael Sherwood and Braden Nicholson, along with sophomore Grady Sigrist, all tied for 14th individually with scores of 76. The Warriors also counted Ryan Jermier’s round of 80. Kasey Ludlow carded an 82 and Braylon Stockwell shot an 84.
Norwalk’s team score of 308 was their best of the season by 11 strokes.
The Warriors’ next meet is the Ottumwa Invite on Tuesday afternoon.
