A busy Tuesday awaits the fall sports athletes at Pella High School, as the Dutch volleyball team hosts its home conference opener and the ranked cross country teams make a short turnaround to competition in Grinnell.

At Pella High School, the Dutch volleyball team is a week removed from action after being swept by Norwalk last Tuesday, and welcome Newton for the first home Little Hawkeye Conference game of the fall. Pella (4-4 overall, 0-1 LHC) is 18-5 in the Varsity Bound era against the Cardinals (3-6 overall, 0-1 LHC), and have won nine in a row in the series since 2014. Newton is led by Junior Kandice Ahn, who leads the team with 88 kills and a .206 efficiency rating.

Varsity action begins at 7:15 p.m. at Pella High School, and can be viewed on Pella Dutch Live.
