The PCM cross country teams competed at the Williamsburg Invitational Tuesday night. Coach Eric Karr’s team was 11th in the boys’ team standings with 291 points. Coby DeRaad, a freshman, was the varsity leader in 35th place in 20:34.
The rest of the varsity lineup consisted of Carson Taylor, Charlie Ford, Wyatt Vannoy and Jacob Buys. The top five PCM runners are all freshmen or sophomores.
In the girls’ varsity race the Mustangs were 7th with 137 points. PCM was just 13 points out of fourth in the team standings. Freshman Abi Teeter was the Mustang leader in 14th place at 23:17. The rest of the varsity runners for PCM were Raegan Vannoy, Jillian Fairbanks, Riley DeVore and Alyce Engle.
